Welcome to Birmingham Lasers Gymnastics club. Lasers is a recreational artistic gymnastics club providing quality coaching for both boys and girls from the age of four upwards. 

Linda Hunt founded the club in the early 1990’s with a small group of gymnasts who were based at Shard End Leisure Centre. The club was originally called Kingspark Gymnastics Club and later changed it’s name to what the club is now known as – Birmingham Lasers Gymnastics Club. Birmingham Lasers has developed over the years with increasing numbers of coaches and gymnasts. The club moved from Shard End to train at the Birmingham Sports Centre in the purpose built gymnastics hall. This was home to the club for many years until our recent move in September 2008. 

Birmingham Lasers now train at two venues - Munrow Sport Centre at Birmingham University and Metchley Lane Gymnastics Centre. Both venues are dedicated purpose built Gymnastic Centres with tumble tracks, pits and excellent gymnastic equipment.
