Unfortunately we will be cancelling all sessions today (Sunday 5th January 2012) at Metchley lane Gymnastics Centre due to poor weather conditions. Classes will resume as normal next week. Please assume that classes tomorrow at Munrow Sports Centre will continue unless you hear otherwise. Thank you. |

Well done everyone! Really great Club competition yesterday! All the gymnasts did so well! Full results and photos are now up!

Birmingham Lasers are pleased to be hosting it's New Year Fundraiser Party & Awards Evening!
This evening is a chance for us all to get together and have some fun! We will be presenting some awards to our gymnasts for their hard work and achievements over the last year. There will be games and activities for all ages and music from the DJ to keep you entertained. The idea is that we all dig deep and aim to fund raise for our Club. Additional funds can be used in many ways to improve our club such as new equipment (however big or small), subsidising kit (soon to be coming tracksuits and t-shirts) & contribution to coaching courses. We hope that you will all support the event and have a great time!
When? - Friday 6th January 2012, 18:30hrs- 22:00hrs Where? Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club: 247 Alcester Road South, Birmingham, B14 6DT How much are tickets? £4 per adult, £3 per child (under 3's free), family ticket of 2 adults & 2 children is £12. All children need to be supervised by an adult please Where do we buy tickets from? From any of the parent reps or the coaches at training sessions or on the door on the day. |

All of the gymnasts that entered the Regional Floor And Vault Competition on 12th November 2011 respresented Lasers well. Excellent result for the Under 11 Mixed team who came 1st!! Well done Alex Thompson, Leo Norris, Elliott Williams, Rheanne Morrison, Bronwyn Murray an Willow Hunt-Trezise! The Under 16 team did very well too placing 2nd in a tough category! Well done to Eliza Small, Claire Fielding, Shona Mackie and Ellie Langham- Walsh. Special praise to individual medallists - Elliott Williams (Boys Under 11 Silver) & Shona Mackie (Girls Under 16 Bronze). |

Congratulations to all of the gymnasts that took part in the George Finney Regional Floor and Vault competition on Sunday 13th March. We had a great day and all the gymnasts enjoyed themselves. Well done to the Under 9's team who competed in the mixed category and gained a team first place position! The Under 9's consisted of Coby, Corey, Michaela, Tamsin and Nathan. The Under 11's mixed team also did very well and achieved team Gold! Well done to Willow, Rheanne, Elliott, Alex and Leo! A big thank you to all the coaches who have been working hard over the past weeks and who supported the gymnasts on the day. Have a look at some of the Videos & Photos from the day!
Next competition is in 2 weeks time on the 27th March 2011 - Birmingham Championships at Cocks Moor Woods LC, Birmingham. |

We will be holding our Internal club competition on Monday 12th July 2010 at Munrow Sports Centre, Birmingham University. All gymnasts will be competing on Floor, Vault, Beam and Trampette in 3 age categories- Under 8's, Under 12's and Over 12's. |

Birmingham Lasers will be showing off their skills through a display performance at Kingfisher park on Saturday the 26th June 2010. This will form part of an event which celebrates the Kingfisher Country parks Silver Jubilee.
Gymnasts will be performing their individual floor routines and a trampette display piece. There will be two displays at 1pm-1:30 pm and 2:30pm to 3pm.
Please come and support the gymnasts!!
